Our story…
Chiharu has been sharing her passion for delicious tofu for over 20 years after moving to the UK in 2005 and finding herself looking for a taste of home. This led her back to her hometown tofu shop located in the northern castle town of Funaoka, now famous for one of the most stunning displays of cherry blossom trees in the north of Japan.
Although the business has expanded, Chiharu is determined to keep to the principles of what made her tofu so popular with her loyal Japanese and UK customers: authentic artisan hand made tofu and tofu-based products made with the simplest of ingredients and a dedication to taste.
