About Us
Tofu Craft was founded by Chi after she moved to the UK in 2005 and found that she missed the rustic taste of Japanese tofu from her home town in northern Japan. After apprenticing herself to her old home town tofu shop she has now been supplying that traditional taste to the Japanese community in the UK for over twenty years.
Our products
Tofu
Simple hand-made tofu created from nothing more than organic soya beans, nigari and water, with a rich soya flavour.
Ganmodoki
Edamame tofu bites made with our tofu, edamame beans and carrots and fried into delicious patties.
Soya Doughnuts & Muffins
Making tofu produces a rich residue of soya beans called ‘okara’ that is used by Japanese people in many dishes. We have used it to replace 50% of the flour in our doughnuts and muffins, creating delicious and nutritious protein-rich snacks.
